Contrary to the title, this is more of the MOTD from the past few months in honor of ringing in the new year. I have been keeping it simple, or at least simply by my terms, lately and focusing on my lips. I can't go a day without eyeliner so that's a given. Who knew a simple streak across your lids could define someone?! Thank you to the Arabs who first wore khol which is eyeliner. I have naturally big lips and eyes so it's easy to over due anything. There is such a thing as too much makeup when you have big features. Enjoy a ton of my looks! Mostly selfies but it's because 2013 was officially the year of the selfies;)
Makeup trick: sometimes it's hard to achieve the color you want in a lipstick so try adding one color and then applying another. For a lot of my darker lips I apply rebel, then darker lipsticks from there. Don't over apply though because our lips are sensitive ladies! Stay beautiful & covered!
