Comeback season
Salaam to you all! I have disappeared for a little but I am back. Today's outfit is a very monochrome black and white with a hint of floral. I have been keeping it simple lately because it always look clasy. You can't go wrong with a black maxi skirt with pockets! I paired it with my favorite floral hijab and new scrappy sandals. I am obsessed with these sandals. Expect more from me regularly again, I missed blogging too much!

Hijabi & Muse
"A human being is a being who is constantly 'under construction,' but also, in a parallel fashion, always in a state of constant destruction." - Jose Saramago
I have been in a very DIY mood lately and this weekend I was feeling inspired. I'm a fan of printed tees and wanted to purchase some when I realized I could make them for the fraction of the price. With the help of the internet and my determination to personalize my tee, let's just say that these types of printed tees will be the norm in my everyday wardrobe from now on. Love any comments or suggestions you might have! Stay covered & beautiful!

Comfort & Coco
From now on, I will be beginning my posts with a little inspirational quote since I adore them and hopefully you will have a bit of an insight on what inspires me. Hope you're all having a wonderful week...almost the weekend! This particular quote really struck a cord with me because in everything I wear, I look for comfort because without it you don't have an outfit. You should never allow a piece to wear you but rather the opposite, but if you don't even feel comfortable in it how can you achieve that? Exactly. I was honored to be able to shoot with one of the best photographers out there who also happens to be a dear friend of mine, Kai of KMR Photography- if you're in the New England area you should definitely check her out and book with her! I finally got my hands on these photos but this was the beginning of my series where I showcase how an outfit can be turned from daytime to night time appropriate with the simple switch of shoes. Heels and sneakers are the easiest way of changing up outfits from day to night. I have been using my Nike shoes for this series because they are usually the closest ones but don't worry I'm doing Spring cleaning this week so I will dig all of those lovely shoes of mine out. Until next time- stay covered and beautiful!

Black & Blvck
Everyone knows how I feel about black...ADORE IT! This is another outfit that can easily be day or night, especially given the color scheme. For a outfit inspired by this feel free to choose any other color scheme as far flannels go and other accessories. It's very laid back and looks put together without having to try too hard (perfect for us lazy ladies!) so give it a go. You can either add sneaks or heels or sandals and it would still look polished. Hope you guys enjoyed this post almost as much as I did putting it together for you lovelies. P.s. Have I mentioned how much I adore my readers? Oh if only you knew... :) stay covered & beautiful!
